Need
Being a commercial hotel, electricity tariff rates are very high. To reduce monthly electricity bills significantly, Hotel Gymkhana opted for the highest possible rooftop solar capacity.
Challenges
The rooftop had multiple obstructions including headrooms, water tanks, antennas, and water heaters. Designing a solar layout that fit these engineering constraints without compromising generation was a major challenge.
Solution
Infisol carried out multiple design revisions and delivered a solution that preserved the existing ecosystem. The solar system was installed on a super elevated structure to maximize space efficiency and unobstructed sunlight capture.
