Vikas Udyog is a cotton ginning industry based in Jintur, Parbhani, engaged in processing raw cotton during peak seasonal operations.
Client Requirement
The objective was to leverage net metering to offset electricity consumption during peak ginning seasons and utilise power banking benefits during non-peak periods. The client wanted a reliable solar solution that could support seasonal load variations while reducing monthly electricity costs.
Challenges
The existing factory structure was weak and unstable and was not capable of sustaining the additional load of a rooftop solar system. Structural integrity was a critical concern before proceeding with installation.

Infisol Energy conducted detailed site audits and collaborated with certified structural consultants to assess the building’s load-bearing capacity. The factory structure was strengthened and reinforced to make the rooftop suitable for solar installation.
This approach ensured structural safety, long-term reliability, and successful deployment of the 400 kW rooftop solar system.
