Need
The Government of India has allocated funds to promote renewable and clean energy adoption. As part of this initiative, it is mandatory for government and corporate buildings to source a portion of their energy consumption from renewable sources.
Challenges
The building height was comparatively higher than surrounding structures, resulting in increased wind flow at rooftop level. This required a solar installation design that could ensure higher structural strength and long-term stability.
Solution
Structural strength and stability were treated as critical design parameters.
